The Table — Cooking, Chefs & Food

A market walk that ends in a cooking lesson, a private chef in your courtyard, the tables that are 'fully booked.' I cook — and I know the ones who do it best.

In short. I arrange the eating side of Marrakech the way I'd do it for a friend: a private chef in your riad, a market-to-table cooking class, a guided food walk through the stalls locals actually use, and a table at the place that's 'full.' I cook myself and know every chef in the city worth the name — so this is the one I take personally.

Marrakech is as good to eat as it is to look at, but the best of it is rarely on a menu or a map. This is the part I love most — because I cook, seriously, and the doors to the city's real tables open because the people behind them know me.

Cook it yourself, or have it cooked for you

A market walk to choose the ingredients, then a hands-on class making tagine, pastilla or couscous, ending at the table you cooked — or a private chef in your own courtyard for one dinner or your whole stay, a menu built around your taste.

The tables that are 'full'

The rooftop that's always booked, the unmarked door, the chef who only takes a few covers — the meals you'd never find from a search engine. I send you where I'd eat myself, and where a call does what a booking site can't.

Questions people ask me

Can you arrange a cooking class in Marrakech?

Yes — a market walk to choose the ingredients, then a hands-on class making tagine, pastilla or couscous, ending at the table you cooked. Private, in a riad, at your pace.

Can I hire a private chef for my riad or villa?

Absolutely — a chef in your own courtyard for one dinner or your whole stay, with a menu built around your taste.

Do you do food tours of the souks?

I do — the stalls and street food locals actually eat, walked with someone the vendors know, so you taste the best and skip the rest.
